There is a lot of symbolisim in the Sin Eater's appearances such as the one where we see their eyes completely black and looks like they're crying which is actually a imagery of having their eyes burned out by the Light thus they are blinded by the Blight. My theory since the launch trailer has been that Sin Eaters take up the traits of the people they eat. The leaders of Eulmore all seem gluttonous, certainly a Sin you'd expect them to eat up, yet they have a pact with those people, and instead seem to eat the poor from the slums. I also noticed a lot of the "foot soldier" Sin Eaters, at least the humanoid ones seem very... Primal? They're eating people who are falling in battle, people who are likely terrified, and I think perhaps their appearance reflects that somewhat...
If true, then I guess it fits with building a palace. If they evolve by feeding, and they're selective in whom they eat in Eulmore, then I suppose the logical endpoint is "We're Angels" and constructing a "Heaven" would fit with that... Given Sin Eaters were once people, there could be some pretty solid Rapture comparisons made...
dungeon1: given how brief it is at the beginning might be final story one just like SB one had a brief bit of ala mhigo
dungeon 2: think this is the lv71 dungeon during a sin eater attack on a nearby lakeland village
dungeon 3: looks like could be Mt Gulg think lv80 dungeon
dungeon 4: lv73 dungeon maybe a test to see Titania
dungeon 5: Ronkan ruins with murals i think lv 75 dungeon Solus probably leads us to it
dungeon 6: lv 77 dungeon looks like a build up to Innocence
Guy butt is best butt <3
The Sin Eater palace looks like the equivalent of the World of Darkness.
So...they still mention only five field zones in the patch notes, but the shared FATE interface shows six slots, with two empty and one obviously reserved for Rak'tika.
I feel relatively safe assuming that the last slot is for the mystery zone.
As long as the sixth zone is not Skyrim, then I'm fine with whatever they can come up with.
Garlemalds capital is located in the snowy north... People were speculating the sixth zone might be on the Source moving us to Garlemald... Dammit Todd! You've done it again haven't you!?
It is certainly possible that the final zone will be the WoL being teleported back into the Source right in the middle of the Invasion of Garlemald. We have to keep in mind while WoL and the Scions are in the First, the War will progress without us as we see it through Gaius and Estinien's perspective.
Final zone was datamined, apparently.
It's called "The Tempest", and seems to be underneath the ocean given the descriptions of the hunt marks that exist there.
