More Than 15 Glamour Plates Please

It is great that the devs are increasing the glamour dresser size from 200 to 400 and plates from 10 to 15, but for many people who love to use a lot of glamour, 15 wouldn't be enough in my opinion. Maybe the devs are aware of this and plan to increase it again, but I wanted to throw this out there that many players would use a lot more than 15 plates.

Due to the AF job restrictions, it would make sense that people can have multiple glamour plates for different AF sets they've acquired. Considering there are like 17 jobs with the release of Shadowbringers, you would think there would at least need to be one plate per job. Realistically, I would think there would need to be something like 50 plates or even better, infinite.

There are 29 jobs including DoH/L and blue mage. There should be 29 glamour plates so each job can have its own plate. When a new job is added, add another glamour plate as well.

This would be perfect. As it stands right now all of my crafter and gatherers don't have a plate to use. With the new gear coming out in 5.0 I would love to glam each of them as the patches come out. I think at least having one for each class is something we would love to have.

I think the devs are fully aware of that. It's a case of priority. Is 30 glamour plates more valuable than upping the item limit from 200 -> 400? The plate increase will happen again I'm sure, it's just been stated repeatedly that its a very difficult thing to do

I think the plates being job Specific is a more important function, to be honest

Ex: Caster AIL 390 gear is shared between all 4 jobs 'BLM, SMN, RDM, BLU' and the glamour plate makes it that all 4 jobs have the same glamour, what I would prefer is that this can be fixed so that you can have 4 different glamours while wearing the same Gear.

My English is bad lol but I hope someone gets what I'm trying to convey

This problem is why glamour plates exist in the first place. It sounds like you're not sure how to utilize them fully. In order to achieve different glamour on the same gearset when you change jobs, you need to make macros for each job. You should have gear sets for each job made already. You also need to make 1 different glamour plate with the glamour you want to use for each job.

So let's say your RDM is wearing full i400 BiS, and you also want to use this gear on your SMN but you want them to look different. You would have one gearset for summoner called Gearset 1, and another gearset for RDM called gearset 2. Then you would make separate glamour plates for Summoner (glamour plate 1), and RDM (glamour plate 2).

Once you have made your two gearsets and two glamour plates, you can make two macros. One for each job.

For Summoner, your macro will look like this:
    /micon smn classjob
    /gs change 1 1

For Red Mage, your macro will look like this:
    /micon rdm classjob
    /gs change 2 2

The numbers in the macro correspond to your gearset number and glamour plate number.

Once you have these macros, place them on your hotbar instead of your gearset swap button. Keep in mind, glamour plates can only be switched in certain areas, so if you use your macro in an area where glamour plates don't work, then your glamour won't change. If you're using job specific (AF) gear in your glamour, the appearance will change to the default of the gear you have currently equipped.

You don't need macros for this. The gear sets themselves already support glamour plates. Right-click a gear set to bring up its list of options, and choose the option to assign a glamour plate to it. Then any time you switch to that gear set while in a city, its associated glamour plate will automatically be applied.

I'd add that I wish we could add hairstyles to our glamour plates.

I love that they included new Glamour plates and expanded the Dresser, but I really, really wish they could consider setting the plates on a per-class basis rather than just having a static 15.
