Viera and Hrothgar Naming Conventions?

Have we got any information at all on what kind of naming convention the two new races will have?

I'm super on the fence about chugging fantasia to Viera, but with no idea on how their naming conventions work yet, I'm a little apprehensive and the examples we have already (from Tactics/XII/Revenant Wings, ect) are few and far between.

What're your thoughts on this and what do you suspect the types of names we'll see being used by NPC's?

Considering Hrothgars description and, specifically, Helions Queen's name (Gunnhildr), their names will be probably based on Scandinavians.
Have zero idea for Vieras though. I could imagine some examples for names itself, but for last names...

Hopefully we'll find out next week. I think the naming conventions get posted 2 weeks before release.

Au Ra naming conventions were posted one day before early access for Heavensward. So probably have to wait until June 27, 2019 to get naming conventions for Hrothgar and Viera.

Ah sad. I was hoping they might do something at today's live letter. I guess that hope is gone. Also I only have one day to come up with a name. o.o'

It's mostly likely so that people won't steal a lot of names before the races even come out. It'll be interesting what real world parallel they use for Viera considering they're from a tropical region. I'm hoping they use what they used in FFXII which was mostly consonants.

I think it should come a bit after the Live letter like with au ra.

My hubby and I use elezen names. Gonna fantasia to Viera with them.

There was a post somewhere around here about Viera and it's thought they will use Finnish/Norwegian sounding names (like Fran). That's what I'm planning on at any rate.
