Feeling punished for having alts...

There is no legitimate reason to use an alt in FFXIV. Everything in the game can be done on a single character. If you don't like how you look, get a frikkin fantasia. The game even hands you one for free at level 50. You can play all classes, clear all content, collect all items, achieve all achievements, and unlock all features on a single character. Why on earth would you need another?

Some people want to be able to do the current raid multiple times a week or have different groups so they need alts.
