An unexpected error has occured. Exiting FINAL FANTASY XIV

Game was working last night. I just upgraded to Windows 10 build 1903.

I hope this is going to be fixed before 5.0 launches. I'm so tired of getting a windows update and your game not working.

Could you post a screen shot of the error message? Do you recall anything changing/updating on your PC that coincides with this?

What have you tried so far to alleviate the issue?

Game runs if I run it under Directx 9.0c.
Game does not run if I run it under Directx 11.
I added the June 2010 Directx missing files. Game was working fine until Windows 10, 1903 update.

Please fix your game so that it runs under the current DirectX and the current Windows 10 build.

Don't blame my hardware -- everything else works but your game.

Please fix, thank you, or you lose a customer. I'm tired of your game breaking every damned time Windows updates. I'm sure I'm not alone in this sentiment.

Would you please provide all informationen about your hardware? FFXIV SystemInfo and DxDiag.
Without this no help can provided. as the game runes fine on other machines, this is an issue with your computer.
i also play without any crash ever on Win10 1903 since March.

I disabled Discord and Steam overlays, and the game launches fine.
