Not exactly sure where to post this or if it has been discussed before, but I thought I'd share my general idea after reading the lore books and Chronicles of Light many times over.

After playing FFXIV for years now and coming to really enjoy the well thought out characters we find in Eorzea and beyond, I’ve come to wish I could learn so much more about them. We’ve seen them in game through the MSQ and side quests, been spoiled with little excerpts here and there between the two published lore books and the short stories for certain major characters that recently got its own book. Whenever there is a character I find great interested in, I find myself pouring over all of the details and tidbits that’s been afforded to us thus far between all these sources of information… and even then I wish to know a little more than what we’ve been given.

That’s not to say I want another lore book or a few more tales to read over (as much as I would love for such regardless!), but I’m hoping for something more akin to when we were given info panels for certain major character’s during one of the Stormblood live letters. For major characters such as Hien, Yugiri, Yotsuyu, Gosetsu—we were able to learn a little bit about their likes and dislikes, what they liked to eat, their interests, so on and so forth. Compared to the small blurbs we’re given in the lore book per a character, I want to read more on a character’s characteristics and past, their relationships with other characters and such. During the live letter they had made mention that they tried to plan out these sorts of qualities per every main character they design, and I think it would be lovely to get more of that same kind of information for characters such as Aymeric, the city state leaders, the scions, and all other major characters.

Would SE possibly consider putting together a book on the various major NPCs in the game? I'm not sure if I'm the only one who simply adores everyone we've come to know, but I thought it would be a nice little thing that shows us the more casual side of these NPCs when we don't see them so serious all the time. As well as just to kind of understand where they've come from, what sort of hardships they might have endured, and so on...

Also those info panels as a small example:
