    Why can't we look up to 90°?

    Many little details in this game bothers me, one of those is that when I want to look to something tall, I can't, and I need to move away to be able to see the top, while in the same situation in real life I can manage to look up 90°, even a bit more behind me.

    Can SE lift this limitation, please?

    @Edit: I played some games that can do it by changing the axis to the camera when it touches the ground, instead of sliding, so that it can look up 90º. I think this should be the solution, works perfect in other games.

    I suspect it's a limitation of camera collision. While your character should be able to tilt their head 90 degrees upward, the camera can't do that because it'd collide with the floor and you'd just end up staring directly up through your character's model.

    I think there's a setting that raises or lowers your third-person camera, which can make it easier to see high-up stuff. I can't say how much higher because I prefer the default height for my current race, but it might help.

    I can't see even with the first-person camera.

    I suspect its more to deter underwear shots when players wear skirts.

    That's definitely not the motive. They could simply make the character model disappear when certain angle is reached, the same as when an object crosses between the camera and the character, the model disappears.

    I'd like them to fix this too. It's certainly one of those issues I bring up when bringing out a laundry list of things Warcraft has over FFXIV, lol. (I love both games).

    Or...Just prevent you from looking up enough. Like is the case currently?

    Have you seen the default hyur/cat girl wear? There is no looking up. The booty is just there.

    Back in 1.0 there was a limit to how far you could look up, but it wasnt as limiting as it is now. (or so people claim)
    I did get into 2.0 and felt it seemed a bit more limiting than I remember, but I wasnt a 100% sure if it was my imagination, but a lot of other people mentioned it too.
    At the time, many people pointed out that for the older 1.0 skirts, it was roughly at the limitation to stop u from seeing up them. (but newer ones were shorter, so u could still see up them)
    it could have been a coincidence, but its what led people to think it was intentionally for that reason.
