    Yeah I do notice that the square-enix store has very strange security measures on it. For me personally I get a suspicious login email every time I log in to their website and have to reset my password. I use the same PC and IP address usually as well so no idea why that happens.

    Seriously, Square Enix needs to fix their billing systems. I'm still convinced that they're skeptical about the fact that we actually want to buy things from them.

    The problem is for the physical CE's Square Enix store is the only place that has them. So if you want the physical goodies with it you gotta buy it through them. I did end up getting my Stormblood physical CE a year after it came out on ebay since I found it for like 70 dollars cheaper then what the store is selling it for but that's me waiting. The SHB CE will probably be near 280-300 if you try buying it the same day it comes out.

    I personally haven't had any issues with Scalefast (minus the EE Vol 2 delay) but that's also in part for me debiting payment immediately since it was something I was planning on buying. My hear goes out to those who are having issues though and I hope it works out.

    I feel you op.

    Though in my case ShB doesn’t even show up in my Orders. I only got the emails saying they were gonna start charging for preorders but haven’t actually charged yet. Emailed them asking what was up and they replied it was still in the preorder phase and that I’d be “charged soon” that was 2 days ago and I still haven’t been charged and have no way to ‘debit now’ ; ;

    Hello, I only just got a reply from the support. They told me to try to change the payment method again and.....It worked!
    So, go and try it again and I hope it works for you as well.

    Also having same very frustrating problems I’ve been emailing support since last Thursday with no resolution. I’ve been passed to three different support people. I’ve now been waiting 30 hours from my last email for a reply.

    I’m thinking about cancelling my order and just buying the entire game with all expansions via steam. Has anyone done this ?

    Also if anyone had a phone number for the Square Enix store support please pass that along. Apparently if you ask the support people in the store to give a phone number to contact them you can.

    The phone call would cost plenty.
    Try again to "change payment method" even if you are going to change it to the same method again.
    It worked for me after failing for almost a week or more.

    I got this same issue a week ago. My payment was declined because my card wasn't working. I talked to my bank and got everything sorted out. I updated my payment info and got an email from SE saying that they accepted my card and to wait for payment confirmation.

    A week later I get another email saying there was a payment processing error, and I need to update my payment method by the 21st (I got the email on the 24th, nice SE). I updated it again and it said to await payment again. I want to force a payment, but there is no "Debit Now" button for me. Only Cancel Pre-Order, Modify My Payment, and Open a Support Request.

    I payed for my subscription 2 days ago with the same card, so I can't understand why this is happening. I already took time off work and I am horrified that they won't be able to help me in time.

    EDIT: I also checked my online credit card statement and saw a pending charge from SE for the same amount as the ShB pre-order. So they were able to charge my card. I don't know what their problem is.
