What's up with the pauldrons on DRG gear?

Almost every pauldron or shoulder piece on DRG gear that has one just flies away when you have your weapon out. I get that some stuff is gonna float a bit no matter what, but it moves so far it's like it's trying to get away. I don't think it's supposed to be like 8 inches away from the body part it's protecting, right?

I'd expect this from cross-job gear (like level 1 glamour gear, Mog Station, etc.) that isn't meant for DRG, but even some of the artifact stuff does it. Did no one think to see what DRG armour looks like with a DRG weapon out?

It looks so stupid that I can't even wear stuff that does that, meaning there's like 4 pieces I have to choose from. Is ShB going to be like this too?

Logging in yourself and looking would be better, because it's hard to show how much some float without being able to see them in 3D.

I've not experienced this issue. It's difficult though because they have to make it work for all races of all shapes, sizes and customisations.

This is a problem with male au ra and heavy armor. Square didn't rig the pouldrons close enough to our shoulders, so they float.

Actually, all pauldrons float, unfortunately. It's just more exaggerated on certain characters. It drives me up the wall, because I like a lot of the gear, and if the pauldrons actually conformed to the shoulders they'd be fine.

I'm a wyrm-slaying, cat man superlancer fighting in a jacket with a tie, baggy black pants, sunglasses, and a lightning lance. I don't need no pauldrons.

However, I have the feelz for those that do.

Ugggghhhhhhhhh why! I doubt they'll ever go back and fix it either. Now I have to watch out with tank armour too.

I just write it off as "maybe its magic" and just ignore it when I can. Don't ever plan on changing race since I'm pretty happy currently, but I hope they fix it at least a little. It floats for everyone, its just ALOT more for us.
