Bonjour for Windows adds zeroconf abilities to IE and provides implementation to JVMS, and FF14 launcher relies on that to function correctly.Bonjour is Apple software, and Internet Explorer doesn't use it. Windows doesn't even use it. only other Apple software uses it. other Apple software, and other niche software that uses some of the Bonjour services. like AirPower alternatives and such.
either way... i sure as hell didn't agree to having bundle-ware installed.
Edit: You agreed when you agreed you install it.
A lot of other things use it besides apple software.
