Dear SE I have been playing for quite long now and I always been in love for the game, sadly the new updates received about ShB left me Heartbroken. I guess you all know I am talking about the healer jobs !
I am a healer main, passionate about what I do and devoted to my guilds. I would like in the next few paragraphs to explain why the decisions taken and the new updated sees this role taken apart and destroyed damaging the player base in all world, will lead to irreparable damages and also will lower the enjoyability of the game itself.
I am not criticizing, I am not biased in any way and I like to look forward to updates with hope but I really can’t now and I want to try right now to represent in the best way I can the feeling and ideas of most of the community healers or not. I don’t want to talk about potencies of spell/ abilities and stuff because that can be fixed. Let’s talk about basic concept that can be easily represented and I think we all mostly can agree:
The Astrologian Card system has been totally reworked and from an entertaining, various and stimulating concept got boring and plain giving the sense that the Astrologian now is about to lose its identity and ability to actually “effect players destiny” with its power.
Having all cards with different effects is what people most like about this class and one of the first reasons we fall in love for it, now all cards will be exactly the same, a plain 8/6/3/4% dmg buff. Wow, how innovative!
I mean you had a fantastic concept already in place and variously approved by the community but you decided to take it apart and make it silly and not interesting at all.
Each card is special and it was only needed to rework the “Spire” because won’t be more TP, each class benefits from cards in it’s on way, Blm/Smn love Arrow to boost their spell speed or Brd/mch benefits most of all from crit buff, or poor healers sometimes may need to Ewer themselves to keep the team alive so why you took that from us?!
Also why only melees and ranges got a full buff but not tank and healers? That’s absurd and a bit offensive because I think healers and tanks deserve a little buff too because even little but their contribution matter, by doing that it’s like you want make feel heal/tank role sdiminished and less important than others when what matter the most is team work and team effort!
I mean, I don’t really mind about a small buff such as 6% but for a matter of principle because I don’t think heals/tanks have to feel like having less value because their dps highly effect the party overall dmg. You decided to make 8 cards all the same but at least 1 for tank and 1 for healer just to feel the players a bit more rewarded and valued doesn’t seem a bad idea.
