Back to FFXIV though, I mean what you are asking for kinda already exists with Astrologian, when they are not healing then they are buffing the party and this is being emphasized again in the next expac despite the reduction in the actual buffs.
Well good! I'd like to see a support healer, and I'd like to see it as good as the other healers. It'd be a shame if they couldn't balance them in a way that still let them be unique. Then folks who don't want to DPS have a legitimate option.
