Beds on Lofts

I made a little loft room above some stairs in my medium home... intending to make a cozy little bedroom, but found you can -only- place tabletop items on lofts. (What's the point, then?) So I asked reddit, got basically a non-answer because the reddit is toxic, and looked up methods to glitch items upwards but, none of them seem to work. I think Square patched them out?

Edit: I did more searching, found I can raise a bed, but you cannot place things on the little flat area on the way up the stairs to the top floor. I guess I cannot glitch a bed up to the loft above the stairs?

You can do it but you're going to have to make use of the storage placement glitch to place the bed first (along with the stage panel to do the floating), then the floating glitch to raise the bed up to the level of the loft. I've done this with various pieces of furniture in my house and a friend's house to get them floating over stairwells.

Aye, I had a thought "what about that little space beside the door and beneath the second part of the stairs going up..?" and sure enough, could place things there fine. It took like... 20 minutes of inching the bed up, but I got it!

The images are kind of dark, but yeah. This loft area is literally above the stairwell.

Congrats on getting it done! It does get much easier as you get more practice with the various glitches used to place items where we can't directly place them.

I've tried using housing glitches but I just don't have the patience to mess with them, so I just don't use lofts as much as I might otherwise.
