Suggesting option to change UI colors or have presets for OLED

    Greetings,

this game has PS and controller support so it's pretty common to play it on a TV.
OLED TVs are stunning and come more and more into mass consumer market(get cheaper).

But anyone who play this game on an OLED has to be concerned about Burn-In, that's where my request comes from.

Would be nice to have an Option to customize every color of HUD, or a rather simple solution: a preset "OLED mode" with HUD Elements in Black/White/Grey-tones

    Short version of problem:
    - OLED burn cumulative(confirmed) so it doesn't matter if you play short or long sessions or if you take long breaks or not
    - First noticeable Burn in will come after 600h+ of static content and not recover(easy to archive on a monthy sub MMO)
    - Red and yellow(incl. color in between like orange etc) are most problematic while black/white/greytones and rather unproblematic

Highly recommenced video to get an idea of what i'm talking about:

    And youtube videos from Rtings

It would be really great to get a solution for it, so everyone can enjoy a stunning game on a stunning TV

    Best regards

That honestly sounds like a design flaw in OLED tech. Old CRT screens used to do the same thing but it wasn't a cumulative process.

Frankly though, even ignoring OLED screens, I'd like to be able to customize my HUD colors. Not just a light/dark theme but full RGB sliders.

Ye but i had the feeling that's probably asking for too much so came with presets.

Will play on OLED regardless(cant deal with LCD on big screen format 75"+ anymore, DSE/blooming etc) and chance for dev team to read this is next to 0, it'll require some babysitting tho(swap entire HUD sometimes, disable hud when not needed, lower bightness and such)

Anyway, asking does not cost anything

I've long asked for the ability to change the GUI's colour, theme, style and font since the Beta and until recently it seemed to have fallen on deaf ears alas....

However, it's confirmed that coming in a few weeks with Shadowbringers SE is adding the ability to change the GUI's background colour to a light tan and brown (similar to the style of the forums), but still with the same font and theme as the normal ARR style. Personally I'd love the option to be able to change the GUI back to 1.0's more 'antique' style (along with the old ability icons) only with ARR's functionality (I loved 1.0's old interface theme style and colour, but not the interface itself as it was horribly broken), but... baby steps.
