    And then they made tanking and healing too easy, and DPS too important, so the topgame meta became doing as little of your job as you can while still managing it, and putting everything else into DPS.

    Why does no one ever mention the Pacify effect which prevents enemies from using skills, giving Paladin an effective second chance to block AoE attacks? Granted, it's not effective on most bosses, but the number of times it's helped in dungeon runs are innumerable. Having an off-GCD attack was always good on its own, but Pacifying a Mamool-Ja readying Overpower or something felt great and saved me from having to physically dodge.

    Because due to the changes made by SE almost all the traditional tanks are gone. Now we are left with the dps wannabes. To these people defensive or interupt abilities don't matter, all they see is damage.
