WTF now i cant log into my account, says "
Based upon recent suspicious activity, we have identified that your account may potentially be at risk. For your protection, we have temporarily suspended login access to this account.
Instructions for lifting this restriction have been sent to the email address registered to your Square Enix Account."

and it wants you to have them send you an email to change your PW but i dont have the email linked to my account... so basically im fucked?

Did you forget? SE step up in security like a month ago which they ask you to please have a email link to your account and make sure you know the pw for it. You get this error because you log in the forums and then try and log in FFXIV.

Don't blame SE for something you did.

How do you not have an email linked to your account. That's your own fault if you used a fake address, SE gave ample warning about the new login securities, and that they would require verification in case of suspected compromised account. I would be looking to find that email address that you used if I were you.

As a measure to help prevent unauthorized access to FINAL FANTASY XIV accounts, we will be introducing a system to restrict logins when suspicious account access is detected. The system will be implemented for FINAL FANTASY XIV after the Square Enix Account Management System maintenance on February 21st, 2011. Details on the maintenance will be announced at a later time.

Under this new system, once login has been restricted, an email notification will be sent to the primary email address (E-mail address 1) registered to the Square Enix account. This email will contain instructions on how to remove the login restriction. Players will be asked to reset their passwords and log in again.

If you are unable to receive the email instructions for removing the login restriction, you will be unable to log in to your account, so please make sure that you have registered a valid email address by February 21st, 2011.

You can call the square enix support line and ask for them to manually reset it. They'll ask you questions to confirm ID.
Google the phone number. You'll get routed all over the place.
