If you don't like the content why would you do it anyway?
Sounds illogical to me, usually when you don't enjoy one content you simply do not make it specially when you have dozens of other primal you can do, if you looking for the weapon or the mount you can always ask a group of friends to carry your character through until you get what you want and you close your eyes in the part that it gives you the bad shivers. Or do as I do out of game context when I am watching a movie that has a scene that makes me feel nauseous just look to the other side.

Not sure why are people losing basic common sense nowadays maybe this will help you go through life: if don't like a book don't read it, if you don't like a movie don't watch it, if you don't like a theater don't pay for the ticket, if you don't like reality tv show don't follow it, if you don't like a music don't listen to it <honestly hope this will help you am sure it will.

The fellas berating the OP for this thread are really weird, the guy asked and voiced his fears and some people came to clarify and provide cultural inspirations and interesting perspectives about the concept of being charmed. Are you guys farming for clout or just want to be voluntarily disgusted at someone who enjoys the game a different way than you do (and therefore have no impact on your own method of approaching the game?) LOL

That being said, dang, I wanna read more about Hindu culture now. Lakshmi in her inspired culture sounds really sick as heck.

If you are interested in a general overview of the "real world" Sri Lakshmi there is a great variety podcast called In Our Time, that did an episode on her. Basically an interviewer talks to a group of scholars who specialise in Hindu myths and legends.

And yet, that does not mean it is an open invitation for anyone to be rude and make side-comments about how one player may have some measure of dysphoria from witnessing and being subjected to something in-game that could be likely interpreted in a more flexible and appropriate sense, and that you should totally make it all about what you think. No one knows how this man lives and behaves.

It's just deeply disappointing that half the replies in here is just pointing fingers at OP and being all like "haha, look at this loser being sensitive about some big booby lady making him have hearts over his head," or "this is why humanity is done," or something just completely poor in taste and thought. This is exactly why we cannot have nice things, we're not nice at all.
