Why is it such a pain to report botters in this game

I see some dude with stupid name like YOukhjdsf Zkjhk with other similiar names standing on top of him teleporting all over fates, why can't I just right click on his name and report. Not rocket science SE fools, instead I have to write down some report about names, zones times of day wtf.

I can kind of agree, I hate it when I see a FATE and some botter is under the ground, beating up the target with no consequence. It'd be nice if reporting was a little more simpler like that, instead of going out of our way to open up the menu, going to Systems, and picking the Support Desk sub command and writing a lengthy report....

It's probably a combination of legacy systems, and making people go out of their way so their reports are thought out (I would hope).

They really should consider making improvements.

I feel like they're convinced that RMT bots are the only real issue that's going on, which why they've only bothered adding a quick report feature for those when they're just the tip of the iceberg,

Among other things, they're:

1. Controlling server economies.
2. Annoying people in PvP/duty finder by trying to automate content that requires an actual brain to do effectively.
3. Locking groups out of Amdapor Keep (Normal) entirely by overloading the instance servers.

It's not a "killing issue" per say, but is annoying as heck if you're conscious enough of them to notice how prevalent they are in virtually all aspects of the game and are legitimately harmful to the gameplay experience at times.

Also bots have a tendency to flood the servers and forcing people into queue. Even if you have to wait for 1 person in queue, that is still too much when there are bots roaming around. With the world visit system in place, there's less leg room to work with.

Agreed. If I want to report someone in a long duty, I have to scroll all the way up, copypaste each and every sentence the offender typed and also remember/check the time and date it happened. And SE has the guts to tell me to report the incident while it is still ongoing, as if I had time to fill a report form while fighting a boss. I miss Blizzard's report system...
