    Good afternoon and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    How long have you been experiencing this error ? Does the Direct X crash occur when Final Fantasy XIV is the only program running? Are there any other programs running at the same time as the game application?

    Been about 4 or 5 days now. And yes, ff14 is the only game that crashes with it. The only other program running in the background is firefox and that's for youtube videos. I've tried it without the program running and I still get failures.
