Deep dungeon is one of my favorite things in the game, and it has remained, since the original came out, one of the most aggravating things that I may never experience it in earnest because of the brick walls imposed by its design.
I could use party finder I suppose in either case to try and cobble together a group that will get however far it gets till people bail or we die ...but I never have. Now and then I do try to solo it. Still, it's a heck of a chore to have no middle ground...
I mean, the place is built for 4 people, and doing the content that way takes nothing away from the achievement of attempting it solo. You wouldn't even need the most complex AI to bring in NPCs, or heck, even a chocobo ... so you go in with one and you don't get the solo achievement, of course, but at least you stand more of a chance if you wish, it's another option...
Or let us solo as BLU? Maybe you beat that solo, that doesn't mean you get the achievement for beating it solo as any other job.
I don't frankly care how the devs do it, I just want some kind of middle ground between the ultimate savage intensity of soloing and the soul crushing effort of trying to assemble a pre-made party.
