    Yeah we’ll see what happens in the future. I am super excited for this expansion and can’t wait to dig in and see how RDM shifts a bit with its new abilities / spells.

    And one day maybe in 6.0 we’ll get Verblizzard or Verwater!

    If used correctly it looks like it will be pretty nice for extended movement, as Verflare/Verholy is already instant cast and so is Scorch. Then you can also Swiftcast out of that.

    I don't want any dot on RDM, but not having to alternate between v-holy/flare is a disappointment. Especially thar t scorch is in itself a very boring addition. No special requirement to activate it beyond casting verholy/fire.
    On top of that it's instant, a bit too easy.

    I wish they'd have done that you'd need to cast both flare ans holy in order to unlock it.

    Personally I would have liked to see Scorch be a third alternative finisher (so, instead of Verflare or Verholy) that you get for having black and white mana be equal when you use your melee combo. It would have a bit more potency than Verflare/Verholy, grant 11 of each colour mana (as opposed to 21 of one colour) and activate both Verstone and Verfire procs. It always seemed weird to me that the theme of the job is all about balance, and yet you're actually incentivised to be slightly imbalanced.

    Never really thought about that, maybe reward players that fill it up to 100/100, then use combo boom here’s a new 700 potency spell, and get a Verfire/ verstone ready. I like it

    not really seeing the problem if they added a single dot to RDM maybe even if it ticked 2 of each mana
    the job "build up" to its burst is very very dull (same with WAR) compared to every other dps job.

    They could have really added that DoT to that Enchanted Reprise since it eats up 10/10 maybe it stacks up to 4 times increasing duration and potency.

    But again, a DoT that lets the RDM alternate between Verflare / Verholy would have been cool since it would encourage us to switch between the two.

    Scorch is just our new finisher replacing verflare/verholy. I like it since now we'll have another spell to fill time while Corps is on CD and have to plan our rotation for it.

    RDM is the easiest job to play in the game and having tools like this will be great to have.

    Though if we want to talk about a HUGE boon lets talk about how scatter now gets promoted to impact.

    The fact we don't gotta keep hitting our procced impactful and that it's also an aoe is a beautiful thing.

    RDM should ABC so no need for DoTs. Having to interrupt your flow to throw on a DoT is disruptive anyway.
