Game not launching in the right window size

I have borderless windows for screen setting and game keeps changing it from 1920X1080p to another size. It all start after 512mb patch got few days ago. Now takes 10 times longer to launch and doesn't launch in right screen size. I have the pc version of it. I use a 1070ti

used reset and still launches in wrong window resolution. Getting very tiring having to change it each time play the game. Why isn't saving the settings?.

What kind of window size does the game launch in? Do you mean it launches Fullscreen when it's supposed to be Borderless or does it just default to a different resolution?

Do any other settings reset when you restart he game?

Have it set in full screen windows and every time launch the game it says its in full screen 1920 by 1080p but the screen is positioned wrong and 25% of it below screen to my monitor and doesn't show. The configuration option when starts up at bottom left corner of my monitor. So can't find no fix to it. Installed a back up copy and does same thing. Used reset option didn't help. I know it all started last Tuesday when did a 512mb download patch. After it game takes 5 times longer to boot up and windows full screen doesn't work. Each time have to switch from full screen to borderless windows then back to fix it.

This might have something to do with how the UI settings are configured, if there is an issue with the locally-saved data, then I'd suggest moving it out of the My Documents folder (it's located My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). If this doesn't resolve the issue, simply move the folder back.

It may also be a graphics driver issue. Try doing a clean reinstall of your graphics card drivers and see how that affects the error.
