Housing demolition timer need to be changed! Sitting on your property needs to count.

If you didn't enter your house once in 45 days you might aswell be without it and let someone else enjoy the plot.
There are several notifications by mail. When i let my house auto demolish i got like 4-5 mails about it. In-game timer i believe shows you aswell.
There is plenty of information about how you need to ENTER the house to reset it and to check you junk folder for emails.
This was nobody's fault but your own. Might aswell start an uproar about "I got a job and got fired when it turned out I had to actually GO TO WORK to get paid"

You leased it. The terms of the lease state that you are required to entire the house once every 45 days. you failed to do so, and were evicted.

Those terms did not exists when i paid for it. The game needs to fix no matter how hard it is.

And no, you don't own it. Technically SE owns it. It is not yours by law. You signed a contract when you started playing this game.

To be fair to OP nothing else in the game can get taken away from you even if you don't log in or don't use it for X amount of time. And this idea of your property being able to get automatically demolished is pretty archaic these days in gaming. So I can understand how the demolition system can be shocking to them.

But I have to admit that it's a bit weird he apparently visited his garden so often but never went inside the house.

Agreed, but the information is out there. In the end it's his fault for not keeping up with news. Yes, it sucks, and I think most of us are unhappy with the housing system, but in the end it is ones own responsibility to keep up with changes and information as long as SE provides them in time, which they do.

Its about the notice which is the root of my post in game not outside. It can be a pop up like everything else when you log on to remind you. It is all that is needed with changes like this. They also do this with everything else and not for housing is wrong.

Like i said, in-game timers show it aswell as several mails.
