Housing demolition timer need to be changed! Sitting on your property needs to count.

I'm still confused on why you thought just sitting outside of the house would count, when a plot is empty you can still sit outside, you just see a red zone where the house it. It'd make sense that the red area is the house.

'This is my house, but the outside is just my property', you know, like a real house.

If you're outside of your house at any time, why don't you take 5 seconds and 5 steps and just simply go inside?

At some point, a bit of personal responsibility matters.

Why should they overcomplicate a perfectly fine and functional system because you don't wanna step inside a building for 2 seconds. I will admit that the game is a little unreliable on sending the notices, but if its that hard for you to click on an entrance then how the heck do you even play this game?

They do not need to change the requirements for resetting the auto-demolition timer. The player(s) just need to be responsible enough to step inside it once every week at least.

This whole thread is the result of the laziness of the player not taking the literal FEW SECONDS to step inside his own house once in a while. That was his fault and he has to live it. The Dev team is not your personal problem fixer because you can't put even a modicum of effort into a basic function.

For me personally I am interested in what the true rational is behind the request. I mean generally the concept of the timer is to promote homes are used by players that actively use them, yet it seems as if the OP wants to limit how much use clicks on his house door to reset the timer. Which seems to go against the very concept of the timer in the first place. Seems like an odd request that goes against the very intent of the timer.

Chilling on your property while queuing should be allowed. No neglect in that. It should be looked at as how you enjoy using your property inside and out.

Here, let me point out the thing you have yet to confront. You havent and your OP has nothing to do with it. If you actually believed in enjoying your property "inside and out" maybe you should have followed your own philosophy and enjoyed the inside, too.

email IRL and pop up In game are two very different things, also poses very different purpose for contact on the way some play game. This does not go against any intent for adding that kind of notice.

You know why they send an email? multiple emails? because it's VERY unlikely you're online and getting in-game notices if your house hasnt been entered after 42 days. it's EXTREMELY unlikely they are just standing in their lawn the entire time. It's almost as if emails are the most uniform way to inform someone outside of a game or service. this isnt some slight. this isnt an attack on your personal property. it's common logic and not so critical thinking.

This hyper specific situation boils down to almost pure laziness and shouldnt be encouraged or catered to.

referring back to your initial post doesnt change this basic logic. it doesnt change that you couldnt be bothered to right click a singular object. it doesnt answer anything. its deflecting and reeks of entitlement.
