If a healer pulls extra then that means they can handle more than I'm pulling, so I just pull more.
I don't know I'm not self absorbed and it's not just me in a dungeon. So if people want to go faster, we go faster.

This is the main reason I try to do new dungeons day one. People aren't expecting you to know the dungeon and thus not expect large pulls.
Usually first run of any dungeon I do probing pulls, not quite wall to wall, but trying to figure out how each pack in each section is layed out and how much damage they put out.
I personally prefer smaller pulls for current content. This is the main reason I try to do new dungeons day one. People aren't expecting you to know the dungeon and thus not expect large pulls.

On PS4, holding hate has been difficult for my DRK without Abyssal being repeatable, without being able to use Unmend as an aggro pull etc.
As a DPS, if the tank and healer are handling it. then it's irrelevant to me.
Mostly because I'm Samurai garbage.
I don't mean to sound patronizing but are you making sure to turn and keep tank stance on as it's not a negative to do so now? With the changes to tank stance and aggro we're packing falcon punches in every breath, I don't think it should be too bad unless this is a dark knight thing?I personally prefer smaller pulls for current content.

Enmity seems to be so tilted towards tanks now I've not tried but I'm pretty sure I could shield lob trash monsters and then just stand there all the way till their death. . (Though I don't normally pull with shield lob since just using the charge move attack is incredi-enmity spike).
So I think something is not quite right (really old gear?), something that might be accidental but also solve-able. Which is good news, makes your tanking experience smoother ~! (Or Paladin and Dark Knight are worlds apart on enmity generation?).

It's not a drk issue I just leveled drk to 80 had no real issues other than forgetting tank stance once and I was practically pulling wall to wall.
I also only play on the ps4.

Since 5.0 if you have tank stance on and you so much as breathe on a mob then it's basically locked onto you for good. Enmity generation is no longer something you even need to think about, it's automatic and you have to be doing something extremely wrong to ever lose aggro.I personally prefer smaller pulls for current content.

Yeah, I usually take that as a hint. That's basically the healer saying "GO GO GO GO GO", so that's what I do if that happens. I tend to be slightly cautious with my pulls in certain dungeons, but if the healer wants more I will give them more, even if it's out of my comfort zone. I have yet to have a dps pull for me outside of my FC, but I'm sure that day will come. I will cross that bridge when I come to it and deal with it accordingly.
PS4 and this. In fact, console has nothing to do with it since PC can use a PS4 controller and PS4 can use m+kb.Since 5.0 if you have tank stance on and you so much as breathe on a mob then it's basically locked onto you for good. I was losing aggro and didn't notice I didn't have tank stance on (forgot about level sync) and turning it on fixed everything. The only time I'll ever lose aggro is if it's a massive hunt where 5 tanks are using Provoke at the same time or I missed 1 when pulling a larger group.
DRK has AOE skills, and they do their job.
But unmend is still there, and there is a aoe combo which generate now more enmity than anything before, and you have a flood of shadow on top of it and quietus spam and salted earth and abyssal drain both aoe on CD. o.OI personally prefer smaller pulls for current content.

You have to remember to reapply your tank stance each duty you get in, thats all.
Netcode of this game does not recognize if you have it ON everytime you enter the new duty it resets all your character status and buffs.
