If, for whatever reason, SQE is having processing errors and not properly taking the money from the card i signed up with on my preorder information, and i can't get that fixed (for sake of argument), what happens?

So I had this issue happen to me before when I preordered Stormblood and I had originally thought "well I guess it'll get cancelled if it won't take the card". I started freaking out about it and preordered it from Amazon only to get a similar issue, but that was fixed pretty quickly (that's called "customer service" Squeenix). Several days later, I got the email from the Square Enix store saying that the payment went through and I wound up with two activation codes for Stormblood: one I used for myself and one I gave to a friend for someone in her FC.

I'm going through the same issue again with Shadowbringers. This time though, I'm just going to wait it out until the 17th. If my order gets auto-cancelled, I'll just preorder it from Amazon instead or from some other company with customer service that doesn't require me to reset my password every single time I log in to shop.
