Finished the storyline, reached max rep with them, and now they reward around 10K per quest instead of up to 28K. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Back to leves I guess.
Can I level crafters with other beast tribes?

In HeavensWard there are the moogles and in Stormblood there's the Namazu.
Have you reached 50? All beast tribes get their xp reduced once you're at the top or over the intended level range.
Ixal are intended for 1-50. 50-60 crafting is Moogles and 60-70 is Namazu.
Are you using a level +50 crafting class?
Once you reach level 50 in a crafting class with Ixals, 60 in a crafting class with moogles, or 70 in a crafting class with Namazu the EXP for them is reduced to 10k.
Itg still seems low for my other classes, My level 17 ARM has quests in the 10-13K range. Perhaps they'll get higher as I level up.
The Moogles have no quests for me (at Moghome.) I just did the initial quests there during the MSQ, and nothing else. I have access to the vendor but nothing else. Maybe there's another unlock I need to find.

There are indeed some side quests that need to be done before Moogles can be unlocked. This page details them:Itg still seems low for my other classes, My level 17 ARM has quests in the 10-13K range. Perhaps they'll get higher as I level up.

There is a quest chain to unlock the Moogles, then another one later to unlock the Namazu. I can't remember exactly which quest it starts at/needs thoughItg still seems low for my other classes, My level 17 ARM has quests in the 10-13K range. Perhaps they'll get higher as I level up.

Their is a quest chain for the moogles, also, yes - with each of the gathering classes you get more EXP the higher level you are in the class until you reach the cap.Itg still seems low for my other classes, My level 17 ARM has quests in the 10-13K range. Perhaps they'll get higher as I level up.

At very low levels you will get a very low amount of EXP, which is why it is suggested to start the Ixal quests with classes over level 30, but either way free EXP each day is free EXP.
I had to go all the way back to: https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/w..._Your_ThoughtsThere are indeed some side quests that need to be done before Moogles can be unlocked. This page details them:

Also, I was not seeing quests the first time there because I was in crafting mode, Once I switched to my 70 main job, I can see them. I assume once I've completed the chain, I should be able to do the dailies on my over-50 crafters.
Edit: Finally got it done! Felt like I did 100 quests. At least it was a lot easier killing 50-something dragons at 70
Note: I never did these earlier, since I started in January, and blew through all 3 expansions on MSQ only, and didn't have any breaks to run sidequests.

Nah, Ixal's really stop being useful in the late 10's early 20's. You'll take the 3 level 18(?) quests and barely get a level's worth of XP.
