Multiple accounts on one PlayStation

I currently own up to Storm blood on PC and ps4.

My girlfriend is interested in playing this game with me, I would play my account on the pc while she is on the ps4 on her own psn ID.

My question is do I need to buy another copy of the game or can she play on my copy but with her own psn/game account?

If I do have to buy a second copy is there a trial we can do first instead to see if she enjoys the type of game. It's her first mmo.

Edit: How much does the base game cost these days? I know HW is free at the moment which is nice.

The Complete game which includes the base and all expansions, except Shadowbringers atm, is 59.99 currently while the base game standalone is roughly 19.99

last time I looked on the PS4 there was a trial and to answer your other question, my son wanted to play FFXIV through the PS4 (I also own copy of game on PS4 as at the time I didn't have a PC) and each PSN user has to have their own copy of FFXIV. I'm not sure whether this applies to service accounts cos I've never really understood how they worked, so maybe someone else can answer that for you

If you have a service account, you can register PC and PS4 game keys to it so when you log in using the log-in for that account is acknowledged to have access to whatever is tied to that specific Service account. Only one PSN ID can be tied to a specific service account,

In order for your GF to play they will have to either start a trial account, using the trial version of the game as previously mentioned. Or create a brand new Service account on the Mogstation or via the start-up on a new game, and add a new Game key(from a new purchased game) to that service account on the Mogstation. It is against TOS to share any one account.

Don't quote me on this as neve rhad a free trial before, but I am pretty sure that you can use teh same launcher. It's just the account that is considered a trial service account. I also do believe that the service can be upgradd from a trial account when you apply a game key to it. Also a Trial account is unlited uses up to level 35 if I recall.

Had someone who played the game come to my house once when I used to play on PS4. He played on PS4 too and he could log-in, as long as he used his PSN account (all of his UI and macros were gone thought, had to do it again).

If it's on the same PSN account, it won't work, since it's your SE account that's linked to it.

Glad they fixed this part. ^^ You can now export what you have saved(macros, settings, etc.) that are tied to a specific character to a cloud storage and import it if you say went to friends house and played on their PS4 or you were wanting to play it on your PC. This was sorely needed.

Yep.

Had to do it all again when I moved from my PS4 to my computer (the Cloud Storage wasn't in place back then), but I would have anyway since the controls aren't the same

On PC, I started with a trial account, and after I bought the game and sub, it just let me continue leveling. No new download. I'd also hope that each user doesn't need a separate copy of the game installed on the PS4.
