When I read that, I assume that you're being raunchy/creepy toward the other members of your raid group, and I don't think that's likely to work out with many groups. But again, best of luck to you, there's probably enough people playing that you can fit in somewhere. I hope you find them.
This wasn't a thread about how to fit in with normal people. I won't fall for that old ruling technique. The guy who kicked me was one of the most infamous ERP'ers on my server and before I knew anything about him I knew that he liked male to male cyb0r after raids and that's kind of "creepy and raunchy" imo but I don't really have a problem with it. It was him who had a problem with me and only way to know why is to ask him. Only thing he said was that I was ranting too much.

Maybe if you described how you're different from most people it would help other people like you to say hey pick me, I rant too much too. Or something.

"A complete socially retarded freak" describes 75% of the MMO community by normal standards. Describing yourself that way in the context of this game indicates that your behavior is extreme. Most of us have no idea what that would look like. Without concrete examples, we have no idea how extreme.

How do you know what they're like? For all you know, they are like you. We're not mind readers. Since you refuse to tell us, we can't answer your question to your satisfaction.

Most people in MMOs don't follow normal social rules. You'll have to be more specific than that. You don't want or need advice on how to function better together with others, but then you complain about feeling like an outcast. That's kind of like refusing to eat and then complaining that you're hungry.

I have autism and I guess I would qualify for at least five so called "personality disorders" (made up nonsense imo though, a personality is never a disorder regardless of psychological mechanisms).

I have autism (Asperger's specifically). Unfortunately, there's a certain amount of meeting in the middle with this if we want to be accepted into groups. I've had my fair share of people turn nasty aaginst me, but I've also found a good group of friends. Now it affects us all differently but let me explain how it affects me:
    - I don't understand subtle social cues
    - I can be easily manipulated
    - I tend to say offensive things without realising they're offensive
    - I tend to be impulsive and say stuff I later regret

Hopefully this gives you some foundation to explain how you tend to act.

As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.

Personality disorders are indeed a thing. Regardless, there's a place for everyone. If you look hard and long enough you're bound to fall into the right chain of events.

And now we're getting somewhere. Most people find ranters to be emotionally exhausting, especially while attempting to do group content. Rant all you like, but keep your mic off while you're doing it. Ranting doesn't help to kill hard bosses. Your performance may be ideal, but time spent listening to you rant is time that could be better spent providing lesser players with constructive criticism. That's how lesser players become pros.

Long rants aren't usually a turn off for people, unless the rants are about certain people, or sensitive subjects. I used to do long rants about the atma fate farming step, and ranting about people stealing my pizza in the dorm fridge for laughs, with people asking me to rant more because they found it funny, you just gotta do it right

Edit: that comment above me is coming off as pretty abrasive, I'm not sure there's many people out there that would tolerate that way of talking, let alone enjoy it. I wish you luck OP, I really do, as it'll be like finding a needle in a haystack.

Anyway, to respond to the thread, there might be a place for you, but it'll probably be hard to find. It probably isn't enough to just find a group of "misfit freaks", because the more eccentric the people are, the more varied their behaviors are, basically by definition. So even if you do find a bunch of eccentric people, you might hate them and they might hate you anyway, because you might have different brands of eccentricity that rub each other the wrong way. Like, I'm an anime nerd, but if I meet a train nerd who talks about nothing but trains 24/7 I'm prob not gonna keep hanging out with him just because we're both nerds, since I just don't wanna hear about trains all day. If you're a (self-proclaimed) ranter, you gotta find people who would want to listen to the things you're ranting about.

You might not want the approval of the "normal" people in this thread, but if you want to find a group of misfits willing to accept you, you'd probably have to advertise your brand of misfitness some way or another, whether that's talking about it here or putting up a PF with a strange message looking for a static, to make sure the people who you want to see you actually see you. Otherwise, the only thing people really know about you is that your last group disliked you enough to boot you, which isn't a great look for finding a group to join. So knowing a bit more about what you're like in raiding might help in determining whether or not you're likely to find other people.

So just to clarify as a summary of some posts of the first page:

-OP can't fit anywhere because he's a misfit

-Given up on fiding groups and/or friends to do pve content

-But still would like to try and be part of a group of misfits to do pve content?

All I can say is do you actually need point #3? Because everyone has a sort of middle meeting ground when it comes to having a "group" so even that might not be enough, given what I've read so far. Better to just try and fimd one person and work at the relationship with that person then finding a group.

Just my take as someone who has to work at it everyday to hold on to the friendships I have now rather than letting them go on a whim.
