I'm a misfit. A completely socially retarded freak. I have autism. I've been kicked from raid groups, bullied and blocked from what I really want to do in this game, which is PvE, simply because I don't harmonize with normal people.

I end up alone and bitter.

I will never be able to behave the way others want but I'm not a low performing player on average and I do have a server 3rd on O4S before my raid group told me I was AIDS and kicked me.

I play FFXIV everyday and want to find other freaks and misfits, people who are genuinely retarded and hated by others but with some level of skill in this game, to do content with. I've grown allergic to normal people. I can't stand them and they can't stand me. I need to be with people who are super excentric.

I'm not looking for normal people to have pity on me. I've given up trying to adapt to what others want. I can't change who I am. I'm looking for people as weird and deviant as me to actually enjoy the game with.

But seriously, the FFXIV community is pretty broad so there's a decent chance the right fc or linkshell will see your post and welcome you with wildly inappropriate humorous gestures and cheers of doom. It can take time to find the right people for you but it's worth it when you do so you can be comfortable being yourself. Good luck!

It's in there if you read it again. As for concrete examples that's something for others to provide since I have no idea. I am myself and that's enough for people to hate me. I won't try to change who I am just to be accepted by people I despise as much as they despise me.

"A complete socially retarded freak" describes 75% of the MMO community by normal standards. Describing yourself that way in the context of this game indicates that your behavior is extreme. Most of us have no idea what that would look like. Without concrete examples, we have no idea how extreme.

How do you know what they're like? For all you know, they are like you. We're not mind readers. Since you refuse to tell us, we can't answer your question to your satisfaction.

Most people in MMOs don't follow normal social rules. You'll have to be more specific than that. You don't want or need advice on how to function better together with others, but then you complain about feeling like an outcast. That's kind of like refusing to eat and then complaining that you're hungry.

People always afraid of what's different, and this game is no different when it comes to that. But I be careful using the word "normal" when comes to people playing this game. The way you're describing them, they are far from it. And this game does a piss poor job in getting like-minded people to connect with each.

When I read that, I assume that you're being raunchy/creepy toward the other members of your raid group, and I don't think that's likely to work out with many groups. But again, best of luck to you, there's probably enough people playing that you can fit in somewhere. I hope you find them.
