Thread: Changing Roles for 5.0?

1. I main healer, but mostly White Mage.

2. I stuck with White Mage from the start so I won't be changing now. It also seems like White Mage got the least changed in ShB so I don't have that many complaints to be honest.

3. Not planning on changing roles, but I'm currently liking RDM and WAR so I'll probably level those first after White Mage.

5. I like all the magical dps but I just love healing (or White Mage specifically I guess) too much to change roles now. I can't play other tanks well and that healer que time is a strong drug.

1. Which is your current/main/favorite role (tank, healer, dps) in FFXIV?

Tank, Paladin specifically.

2. Are you considering trying out or changing to a different role for the launch of Shadowbringers?

Not for my main. I have always played all roles to varying degrees though and paladin will still be my main job/role in ShB.

3. If so, which role are you considering? Any particular job for that role?

4. Are you switching because: A) don't like changes to you current role/associated jobs, B) really like changes to other role, C) a job in another role looks much more appealing/exciting, D) just need a change of pace, E) other

I'm on the fence myself with so many new things to try.

Bard for now, bu i play almost every job exept for tanks.

Nope, i like healing but prefer DPS more

E. I won\t change role but will try to change main job

Nothing really. I will try healing in new content at some point.

I imagine the healer role will lose a few people going into SHB, but i'll stick around because i enjoy actually healing more than i enjoy healer gimmicks or the healer dps rotations.
