Fixed with clean install of windows.

Crashes seem to happen when I TP to major cities. This is literally making it unplayable.

How long have you been experiencing this error ? Does the Direct X crash occur when Final Fantasy XIV is the only program running? Are there any other programs running at the same time as the game application?

Been about 4 or 5 days now. And yes, ff14 is the only game that crashes with it. The only other program running in the background is firefox and that's for youtube videos. I've tried it without the program running and I still get failures.

If you have not done so already, could a cleanboot? Open the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.

This is what I just got after doing the cleanboot and started the game to TP to Ul'dah. It does it in all major cities except Kugane.
