Random Freeze After Teleport

Lately I experience a weird freeze. It always happens when I port into a new map and it is really annoying. The following things happen:

• I either freeze for 30seconds and cannot move and am stuck on the same spot.
• I get a freeze midfight, but I can move out of aoe markers. I have full control of my skills and cooldowns but yet animations, character animation and everyone else freezes. I can still play fluently though.
• When I try to open different windows like Inventory or Systems or anything, they take like 30s to open and show me the content or actually freezes. I have a screenshot while I try to summon my retainer but nothing happens, I cant even cancel process, so I have to wait out the freeze.

(being occupied by the bell but no reaction possible)


I upgraded my PC parts, graphic, cpu, motherboard.. so I do not think the fault is my pc. Also, I do not experience any problems with other games. Or other softwares I use meanwhile (browser, discord, etc).
This freeze only happens inside FFXIV.

How long have you been experiencing this issue? Could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

It seems some hotbar/macros/skills arent loading either. I am using a SSD which I only installed FFXIV on.

Two possible variables to test, if it's happening "every time you warp to a new zone":

- what happens if you warp to an aetheryte in the zone you are already located in?

- what happens if you move to a new zone without teleporting - ie. walking over the zone boundary?

xbahax92, does this crash happen with one character ? Does the game on only freeze during teleportation? Does this happen anywhere else in game? Please make sure your graphics drivers are updated as there is a new one available as of 5/27/2019.
