Is Chaos better?

Some people say Chaos and Cerberus is better for PvE and I wonder if it's true.

I have been playing on Odin since I started many years ago and it's virtually impossible to find people to do end game content like raids with in my experience. Through nepotism I got a server 3rd on O4S as my only raid achievement. Despite having played for years and been a high performing SMN in HW as well as now in late SB after returning from a 1,5 year break I just face the same wall of silence and rejection on Odin. I even have old "friends" gloating and talking down to me because I can't find friends to play with and my limit is reached really.

It's so bad I feel I have nothing to lose and will soon transfer datacenter but would still like to hear people's opinion. I don't see why it should be so hard getting into end game content for someone who can hardly be called a complete beginner at FFXIV.

If I make the switch I would also be happy if I could find an FC. Preferably a serious and somewhat ambitious PvE oriented midcore FC where people don't engage in tooltips duels or smug "having the last word" pseudo elitism but rather accept that people are different and some are more theoretically minded or versatile/play more jobs than others.

Both datacenters feel empty after the split. From what I've seen the chance to find a pug group in pf for savage/extreme is almost the same on both DC.
On Chaos you may have a slightly better chance to find a raid static since Cerberus and Ragnarok still have a good amount of raiders while Light only has Odin as a populated raid server (as far as I know at least, lots of people have been switching servers since the split). Keep in mind that Chaos does have more french people (stay away from Moogle).

I guess that's the problem with Light and Odin imo. Heavy degree of inbreeding on the raid scene with the same groups shuffling people between them endlessly. if you're on their good side you have access to linkshells and Discord channels and might get something going but if not it's like screaming in space. It usually ends up being the same leftovers like myself pugging and the level is not anywhere near Japanese politeness or patience (as the game is probably intended and the way it is in Japan with a huge well functioning pug culture).

I'm thinking learning French and trying the cultural clash on Chaos is actually a better bet than Odin atm since it has really turned into a sacred institution with power structures rarely changing.
