Probably should a phrased myself better, I ment they were for the Au Ra. Gods in general for them but most heavily related with sun and moon.
Plus I tend to forget details and remember them later.
Another wild and unlikely to be true theory:
- Arbert is Innocence.
I'll go a little wilder and say that the Crystal Exarch is Innocence.
After finishing the 77 dungeon, because the X7 dungeon is always where things go to Hell, whoever the final boss is uses the Exarch's crystalline body to forcibly incarnate summon Innocence. After we defeat him in the trial, he falls to the ground with his crystal turned orange to show that he's dying. His hood falls back as he falls to the ground, and there's a scene where the WoL says goodbye to him as G'raha, after which the clouds are parted and it rains on Kholusia for the first time in a century as the WoL stands over his body.
Edit: Alright, after looking through the 5.0 preliminary notes:
Facet of Crafting (Carpenter/Leatherworker/Weaver)
Cherished Memories
Carpenter, Leatherworker, or Weaver level 70
The Crystarium (X:11.4 Y:8.3)
Recording Node
Players must first complete the quest "The Crystalline Mean."
That means the Allagan node that was present in the media tour build wasn't just a placeholder. Huh?

Welp, the name of the first MSQ basically spoils where we're likely going to end up finding the beacon.
The Syrcus Trench implies it's down in that ravine Nero tossed his aetherometer into in the final cutscene of the Crystal Tower series.
Well, it's not like the Crystal tower had that much possible hiding spots for that beacon haha.
I have been curious what they had planned for that one moment in CT ending for years.
Guess people can only speculate now if they had Shadowbringer expansion planned since CT ended or it was just that they could not figure out how to continue where that CT ending left off.
I certainly expect a small additional scene were we find that beacon Nero tossed down there exclusive to players who completed CT storyline since players who did not complete CT storyline will not have caused the events for the beacon to be down there.
Well we know they planed a lot of things in advance, but it could very well be possible that Eureka really was supposed to take place underneath the CT in their original plan of whatever they would do with it, but by the time SB xpac started they most likely had atleast the planning stages for SHB done and thus changed things around a bit. Still made it an important scene though.I have been curious what they had planned for that one moment in CT ending for years.

I don't know where to post this but here will do. As most of you I guess, I'll be down in the MSQ and the game from today to a few weeks, trying to keep off forums reddit and all that.
I hope everyone has a great time with Shadowbringers and see you all here for more lore discussions when we are done with MSQ! Take care![]()
