And that would have been fine if they hadn't locked skills behind it. If grouping was left as an optional thing for players who want to run content with their friends, then excluding BLU from DF's party matching feature wouldn't have caused any problems. The problem comes from simultaneously disabling party matching while also requiring it.

But this only explains one side of the issue. I agree they had valid reasons for excluding BLU from DF. But given the fact that they were doing that, they should have provided a viable alternative to it. The job's required content should have been soloable (with purely optional grouping available for pre-formed parties).
