    why so much players have a rush mentality

    so much people just want to speed run / rush any content and never even care to see of the rest of the party is up to it. as a tank its extremely frustrating as people liek this never want to communicate and force the way they want to play on you.

    As a tank, 'rushing' shouldn't bother you at all since what you need to do is the same no matter if there are 3 or 12 mobs // same rotation, same use of mitigation (though of course you'd never use Hallowed Ground, etc. on a 3 mob group single pull...), same everything. If anything, the only ones that should be annoyed with a larger pull may be the healer if they are inexperienced, undergeared, or don't have the confidence of healing wall to wall pulls yet. Tanks, though, just run through, grab everything, mitigate, and dps till it is all dead. What is frustrating about this, really? Like I said in a previous thread, you won't die on 2-3 pack pulls or wall to wall pulls if you at least mitigate and have a 'good' healer, unless you really try.

    The only problem is tanks who don't want to go fast!!!

    Edit: I'll post a real reason I guess. Community standards are what they are. People want to go fast because it's efficient and because it's fun. Doing aoe and having to heal more damage is more fun for just about everyone. There is no joy to be had in mindless single target dps. You aren't going to get this genie back in the bottle because big pulls have been the thing to do since 2.1. Since this is the default assumption at this point, people don't ask about it.

    Unless its a leveling dungeon the damage trash mobs do is really really low. I think a lot of players just dont want to make something thats a 15 minute run if youre just casually going into a 30 minute run for no reason.

    Well. I think speed never really hurts, unless you run into a Wall, which will quite literally stop you anyway and give you enough time to look at stuff!

    Especially if you're in like Mt. Gulg and the dps only do single target rotations.

    In which case, you'll have to live with a wipe. And you know, a wipe a day keeps the doctor away

    If it's your first time in a dungeon tho, let people know and most won't mind you wanting to go slow! Or they'll even give you helpful Tipps, as to which adds to stun etc.

    Tho, eventually everyone should realize that pulling "wall to wall" is the way to go and very feasible for like 99,9% of the playerbase, if they just try a little bit ^^

    I mean, there's walls for a reason

    And honestly, having to do stuff instead of sleepwalking is uh... More fun, isn't it?

    I think most people enjoy a videogame coz they like... doing stuff, right?

    And the game isn't even asking for 400apm anyway.

    A little bit of bravery helps a lot when being a tank or healer!

    Dps shouldn't pull ahead of the tank tho, that's the healers privilege!
