I'm having the same issue, I've tried every fix along with a full re-install of windows/drivers/game client and nothing prevents the error something is up with se's servers
PS4 player here, I have been having intermittent lag issues for the past week or so and it's driving me nuts. I am 99.9% certain that it's not from my end, because I believe I've tried every troubleshooting method that is available to me, and even then things were working fine before this issue started. I'm used to getting lag spikes here and there for a day on the rare occasion, but to have it for days on end like this is ridiculous and infuriating. It usually isn't enough to fully disconnect me but the pauses and constant rubber-banding are long enough to severely affect gameplay.
I'm not sure if anyone else has been suffering lag like this as I have, but I hope I'm not alone so I know it's not something wrong on my end. Either way I hope it gets resolved soon because it's making my pre-expansion farming and grinding an absolute nightmare...![]()
I actually just went so far as to reset my computer to a clean install state, painfully re downloading only necessary programs and still, having latency issues. It's not my modem, not my isp, not my graphics setting, as I even tested turning it down to the lowest setting possible. Now, at 10: pm my time on a clean install of my actual computer, still having latency with graphics and not just on instanced zones. Anything to do with battle now or starting a Gate at the casino. Even Air Force One, which is a solo event is crapping out. My character will actually stall and stand in a frozen pose, aggressive NPC's brought in by a leve, etc, will not be visible thirty percent of the time. However, even though my character is in still pose on screen, I can 'slide move' across the ground and attack, without the usual movement graphics that should go along with the effort. No other game is giving me this issue. Edging on seeking a refund for my sixty dollar pre-order at this point. The massive influx of RMT and bot/players and then this, makes it not worth the stress. Oh, my last dungeon run was with family. Sastasha. Inside, when it came to touching the coral, the stone wall parted for them, but on my screen, it was still in place, despite hearing it move. Not only this, they could cross over and I was stuck with a solid wall, unable to follow. I took a screenshot of this happening. Funny thing, they were all three on PS4 and I was on computer, we all use the same internet provider and same type of modem, model number, all directly hooked up, not wireless. Odd crossplay errors happening now. If it's on my end, not sure where. To be clear we have different modems, internet connections, etc.

To anyone curious or still following this thread, this is the response I got from support concerning this issue after I submitted a second ticket to try and resolve this:
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...0002-and-90006
I have been having this problem as well....didn't have this problem b4.
+ I have done everything they said in the other threads: check firewall / internet explorer and so on.

They're lying about it, now? Not surprised...

Has anyone found any solutions to this problem? I'm going mad trying to figure it out; I can't count how many articles I have read and things that I have tried with no success![]()

I wish I knew the answer.
I have tried everything from restarting both FFXIV and PC, flushing dns, making sure dns is 8.8.8.8 (Google), syncing the PC clock with world servers, trying the tips FFXIV support has sent before about ports and permissions, etc... everything I have seen suggested here and more things that seemed random and ridiculous. And nothing. Finally, my ISP took a look at their system and fixed a number of "bad" servers on their end, giving me a more direct route to ffxiv servers.
I played earlier in the day (PST) and thought it was fixed.. but I get to 3-4pm and the crashing begin again.. and get worse and worse as the evening goes on. This is occuring for me both on Aether (Sargatanas) and Primal (Lamia) servers. I'm actually less than an hour away from the dataceners in NA and still, the lag and 90002 errors and ridiculous and hindering MSQ progress. I cannot get through Heavensward.. and for me, this started in April. It's really disappointing and I hope there's a clear resolution soon.

Here are some of the things that I have tried if anyone is interested; it may help some of you. I have done all of these things and I am still dc'ing, but the frequency has lessened to maybe once every two hours instead of once every minute. I will also link some articles and reddit threads that I found helpful as well.
How to reset TCP/IP using Netshell Utility
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/reset...ernet-protocolConstant error 90002? Why is this such a problem?
https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comme...uch_a_problem/These are just a few that I can remember. I also have done all the trouble shooting that SE sends everyone who says that they are having this issue, and it was the first thing that I did before anything else and I was still dc'ing every 20-30 minutes. It has only been after everything listed above and probably some more that I can't think of right now that I have been able to improve my connection. But it is ridiculous that I am still having all these drops even after all that.Fix: FFXIV Error 90006

I have also been using Wtfast. That seems to help to keep me connected for longer periods, but be advised this is a paid service and it may not help you in the long run, especially if this issue is on SE's side. They do offer a free trial though if anyone wants to check it out.
But even after all of that... I still get dc'ed for no apparent reason, and honestly I am just tired of the copy/paste replies to this, and the over all "this is all on your end and couldn't possibly be on ours" when I have done so much to verify that it would appear to not actually be on my end...
