AATN:FFXIV DEVELOPMENT! the commendation system is a joke!

I've gotten more commendations than dungeons I've done. Is that not the same for most? I also tend to run with 1-2 others who can't commend me for being in the same group.

One thing I'm salty about is I haven't gotten 7 commendations as a DPS yet in one run. Highest I've gotten is 6. Done it as a tank and healer though.

You honestly can't expect to receive a commendation every single dungeon.....?

I know what the OP wants to say, sometimes you just perform really well in a dungeon or raid and know it, yet nobody seems to notice nor gives a commendation. In those situations it feels bad. And sometimes you don't do anything special yet get all the commendations because you made some sort of bad joke or some dudes liked your glamour.

DPS main here. Usually critical, use all tools given, rarely speak, BIG D DPS, have gotten 7/8 comms on single run numerous times, and did I say critical? It’s not hard, play you job great and have sick glam...comms will roll in. There’s a thin line between being an a-hole and giving actual deserved criticism. I tend to cross it a lot but make up for it by knowing w/e job I’m playing. I also will be critical of myself out loud when I make a bone head move. Comm system is perfectly fine. Anyone with 3k plus have probably been a tank or healer main since early days. Working as intended. OP you’re clearly used to getting whatever you want at home so maybe stick with single player games and just inject whatever you want into it. Cheers!

i'll try keeping this to a minimum! the commendation system is exactly what i said a joke.im so sick and tired of giving people one because they i felt deserved it yet i get none its total "BULL" the whole commendation system needs a major overhaul because currently it's a one way street if i give one i should receive 1 .you can disagree all you like but fact are facts and before telling me any reason defending it dont bother i been on ffxiv for almost 4 years and guess how many commendations i received vs what i gave i just got 107 so sad ill never get the higher rewards with a crooked system like this when i give i should receive period its a unfair system and it "MUST STOP" and "MUST CHANGE"

AATN:FFXIV DEVELOPMENT PLEASE REVAMP THE HIDEOUS COMMENDATION SYSTEM ITS A UNFAIR SYSTEM THAT ONLY THOSE WHO HAD NO ISSUES LIKE OTHERS WOULD DEFEND ULTIMATELY KEEPING A CROOKED UNFAIR SYSTEM IN PLACE.REVAMPING THIS SHOULD BE ON YOUR AGENDA ASAP

Maybe queue as White Mage? I've been playing six weeks and already have eight commendations. I've been exclusively crafting for several of those weeks, too.
