    The low level experience in this game is pretty awful if you've ever played an rpg before.

    It gets better in the 60s.

    It sounds like you guys haven't hit 30 yet
    the base "classes" are the basis of your "jobs" and you will see plenty more skills after level 30 that show the true depth of the job/class you chose

    Also, most jobs don't show their true potential til at least 50-60, the low level experience is pretty bland. But thats true of any mmo, no?

    For this reason, Red Mages are always entitled to LB3 priority. It ensures that at the most critical moment of a fight, you see as little as possible and must therefore learn to rely on nothing but game-sense.
    Please, I know what skills are being used by sound alone. During HW it's how I knew some people playing certain jobs were being lazy or unaware of skills. There's also a thing called sensory overload.
