As many stated, we only see your side of the story, so we can't judge if they were in the wrong.

Ifrit is a better option than Garuda, yes. Were you using your DoTs ? Did you use Bane ? Did you use Shadow Flare at the end of the pulls ?
We don't know.

Were they mean to you ? Did they insult you ? Did you just blatantly ignore them when they gave you advices ?

I understand that you have your habits, and enjoy the way you play, it's fine. But if someone is giving you advice so you can be better, I'd say you should try it out.

I'm sorry to hear that =/ Kicking a new player on their first play through of a dungeon is never cool unless they are purposely trying to sabotage the run or something.
