"Reserving Server" for hours

Stuck at "reserving server" for hours on end. Multiple times this has happened. Im trying to do Amdapor Keep for relic. This is not an acceptable solution to the problem of RMT bots spamming that dungeons that SE has pitifully failed to address. It is not acceptable to place me in a nearly endless queue that actually RESTARTS if someone understandably gives up on it.

This is a fantastic game that is astonishingly mismanaged by fools doing everything they can to ruin it.

As I said, it's Amdapor Keep. They restrict the number of servers per dungeon, and Amdapor Keep is the favorite dungeon for RMT bots. It's also REQUIRED for the relic quest, which has to be run 10 times if you want all of them.

This is a problem that has gone back years, based on my research. THE RMT bots have been running it for years, SE has known about the problem for years, but STILL, they just screw over paying customers like me who are just trying to do a relic quest by basically ignoring the problem of RMT and bots, both of which have been dealt with successfully by other MMOs, so dont tell me "they cant do anything". Maybe if SE wasnt wasting all their resources on nannying everyone who argues on the internet with "grief violations" they could actually address something real, like this issue.

This is a great game being driven into the ground by the ludicrous code of conduct and archaic technical issues like this one long since solved by other MMOs.

Bots farm Amdapor Keep, presumably because it works most effectively with their tools. They seem to enter, warp across the map and leave shortly thereafter. I've bumped into them a few times when they've accidentally queued with 3 or less bots.

They probably took up all of Amdapor Keep's instances. I'm not sure what SE can do about it besides adjusting the relic step.

They could resolve this issue with minimal impact to normal players by removing the gil drops from ARR dungeons, since they're just farming the trash mobs before the first boss.

Gil drops are already absent from HW/SB dungeons, so they're really just an archaic holdover from the game's earlier days.

That’s a silly thing to say. Unfortunately, people will never stop buying Gil, no matter what server it is.

Nothing will stop them.

It's a shame too, because gil is so stupidly easy to make in this game. Guess people have more real life money than sense.

I mean it seems like an easy solution but nobody will ever do something like that. People are lazy and don't want to work for their gil.

When gil really isn't that difficult to make.

Have now been in queue for 300 minutes, "reserving server". Have also put in about 10 tickets for a GM, not one reply.

SE has a D- rating with the BBB, not hard to see why. I presume if I put in a ticket bc someone used "profanity" there would be contact from a GM eager to obtain details of this heinous crime, but this situation where I cannot progress on a quest bc of a glaring and legitimate technical issue doesnt even warrant a GM contacting me to recognize the details of the situation and at least express some modicum of concern for the problem.
