I don't RP, but I do keep a personal character lore written down and rewrite it a lot due to new info with each expansion. I will do my best to summarize it though, since it is currently 5, almost 6 pages long. And I do really mean summarize, there's a lot of smaller events that are just fluff or I felt like adding. Most MSQ stuff plays out as normal too, since I can't rewrite the whole of the game. Note that I kinda make a couple things up to explain some things, but use what's happened in the story and such to inform these things. On top of this, note that as of the latest rewrite, I just completely ditched the leftovers from 1.0.
Sakya arrived at Ul'dah in a caravan that found her passed out on the side of the main road leading to Ul'dah. When she woke up, she didn't know where or who she was, outside of her name. During one night in Ul'dah, she is attacked by two angry Ul'dah citizens but is rescued by Hamon Holyfist who offers her shelter at the Pugilist's guild. That night, Hydaelyn visits Sakya in her dreams and lays out the whole warrior of light thing. Sakya requests t be trained by Hamon. She would gain a rep in Ul'dah until eventually Raubahn notices her and urges her to join the Immortal Flames, which she does. During Immortal Flames business, she encounters the scions and events play out as normal, including the MNK quests and her going up in the ranks of the Immortal Flames, till between ARR and Heavensward.
Sakya performs a very large, and very dangerous two handed twin strike variant of Final Heaven that I call "The Jaws of Heaven" to stop a very powered up Ifrit from marching into Ul'dah. Though she stopped Ifrit, all this ended with the nerves of her hands being afflicted with "Aether Burn", basically this makes it so she cannot channel Aether through her hands and her hands cannot be healed, as the burn negates Aether. Thus sacrificing her career as a MNK in order to push Ifrit and the Amalj'aa back. Events play out as normal into Heavensward where she goes through the trials and becomes an Astrologian. Events will then play out as normal until reaching the Azim Steppe where during some downtime Sakya is confronted by an elder of the Mol who proclaims through tears that she has finally found her and claims that Sakya is her daughter, queue the Echo looking into the woman's memories until Sakya finally sees herself in them. Causing a sort of feedback loop that makes the echo turn back in on itself and peers into Sakya's memories and reveals not only that the woman's claims are true, but everything that led up to her waking up in Ul'dah.
While part of a hunting party that travelled outside the Steppe, Sakya was captured by the Garleans and was sent to a labor camp in Eorzea, who needed a new mining crew after the last one died in a cave in. In Eorzea, the convoy transporting her and the other prisoners was attacked by the Amalj'aa, who captured several of the Garleans AND the prisoners and were ready to offer them to Ifrit. However, Sakya's Echo, which she has had since birth, protected her from Ifrit's tempering and before the Lord of the Inferno could kill her for defying his 'will', a flash of light would blind not only the primal but the Amalj'aa as well. A voice in her head telling her to flee. Which she did, running as fast and far as her body would let her until she collapsed at the main road and was found by the caravan. She'd go on to help Hien win the Naadam, become the Khagan and with her new authority, pledges the aid of the Xaela to Hien in order to free Doma.
PHEW! That's everything so far that isn't just part of the main story. Apologies if this goes a little too long. But, I just liked the thread idea and wanted to join in. Extra apologies for some cliches, I'm just a sucker for them. And yeah, hope you enjoyed.![]()
