DRG Finally Fight

The DRG last fight is easy enough and just going to give ya an idea of a set up that works for it....


2x Con's
2x Gld's
Rest DD's we mixed up THM and DRG's

Tank 1 will will take the drake up to the bridge and hold him there with the drake facing the bridge.
Tank 2 will take the DRG and kite him around the tree at the bottom keeping them apart.

The Drake AoE is nasty and before he does it he will change colour.
The DRG's AoE is also a little nasty for this keep an eye on you're chat list for when he says 0 then run away.

Tank 1 will keep tanking the drake until it dies after that he will job change back to some fourm of dd as well as 1 of the Con's. The tank 2 who's kiting will keep kiting around that tree while everyone else will beat into him and watch out for when he say's 0 and clean the area.

Easy as 1 2 3...

Best way to look this fight is like moogle and ifrit on LNC for you want to keep LNC's far away from the drake when hitting him and run away when he changes colour.

The moogle part is when u go to fight the DRG he will be running around that tree and all u got to do is run after him and hit and WS him when u can just like chasing after the moogles ....

not a great guide cuase i do suck at these lol but feel free to add or edit it

All the job quests are easy once you get a real strategy that isn't just ZERG!

Of course that sometimes works too.

I gotta say I am really impressed with the quest content of this patch.

Best ever? No, but way outdid my expectations for FFXIV at this point.

We just did it with one tank, an archer kiting the dragoon. Pretty fun, not super hard.
