Well Yoshie-P tends to introduce simple systems that grow into more elaborate content. Free Company workshops into Diadem. Eureka getting logos actions and such. Grand Companies getting recruits and later dungeons. Gathering leading to treasure chests and those leading into Aquapolis. Pets leading to Lord of Verminion.

Exactly. Whatever the trust system is now, it will evolve into much more.
