Nice Job! How fun is Chimera!?
"Online gamers are the most ludicrously entitled beings since Caligula made his horse a senator and at least the horse never said anything stupid."
pretty fun, i'd say. can't speak for the others but it seems fairly easy to dps on the surface. imo this fight mostly tests your tank and healers. you can go from calm and controlled to "oh shi-!" in the blink of an eye, and often.
tank needs to be aware and mobile to reduce incoming damage as much as possible, while still keeping a diligent enmity rotation- as it is extremely easy for healers to pull hate if they have to bomb too many big cures. healers have to constantly be on their toes, as one breath + 1 melee attack can be enough to drop the tank in the blink of an eye. not only that, but he has some nasty aoe that can drop everyone but the tank to red HP or oneshot them immediately.
maybe chim isn't quite as involved as primals in a direct comparison, but i imagine that's by design. would be extremely difficult to 5 chest speed run it if it were much harder. (and may be /airquotes extremely difficult already)
just my 2 cents, though.

Congrats guys.
Oh we beat Aurum Vale now too, 6 attempts at the morbol to win xD Got these items
Uploaded funky :/
Darklight Boots
Explorers Earrings
Update:
Got 3rd chest - BLM staff Aubulest Whisper (spelling)
Right now we believe
1st Chest: Kill Boss
2nd Chest: kill all ghosts (they depop if you kill the pack that spawns the circle)
3rd Chest: Mob trigger (did run and killed 100% mobs - its unlikely that's condition so a mob, or mob pack, or mob type most likely triggers - theres very few flower mob types, im guessing its those)
Guessing:
4th Chest: No use of Morbol vines (theres achievement for this also)
5th Chest : <25m
Those 2 sort of go hand in hand, since theres very few mobs you -actually- need to kill in the poison area's you'd just speed run through 3 WHM 5 BLM (or THM) and AE down the packs that open the gates, and sleep/sleepga everything else. I think Coin by ~52m (2m to kill) Morbol by ~44m for 9m to kill. Might require more gear swapping / job swapping but I think it would play out nearly like DH's speed run.
Notes:
theres that lamp in the entrance area that doesn't spawn a circle, unsure what its for but DH had weird stuff like this too that didn't do anything.

Nice work. We're also trying to figure out the chest conditions, as well as working on our clear time. Ghosts and roselets are definitely the stand-out mobs. Hopefully the requirements are not as inane as DH's seemed to be.
I like that the four new bosses are essentially execution tests and reward you for optimizing your strat.
You don't really have to optimize your strat because they are so easy...Nice work. We're also trying to figure out the chest conditions, as well as working on our clear time. Ghosts and roselets are definitely the stand-out mobs. Hopefully the requirements are not as inane as DH's seemed to be.

Morbol dead on first attempt. (Technically we did attempt before that but ran out of time)

Yeah, the new bosses are much easier than we anticipated. Morbol took us 2 tries lol
(counting the one when we ran out of time)

Ifrit is probably still the hardest fight in the game, fundamentally, but just because the new bosses are pretty simple doesn't prevent me from enjoying figuring out better and faster ways to kill them. Especially in the context of speedruns, my initial impression is that both dungeons are going to be far more unforgiving than DH was, or anything else already in the game -- which is a good thing.
