Tank DPS in the expansion

I was just thinking about this and was wondering where do you think DPS for the 4 tanks will be? As in do you think WAR will be king still or with the PLD changes do you think they'll pull ahead?

I know there's no ranking right now (at least I can't find one) if anyone has any info on where the people who tried the tanks and ranked their DPS could link that I'm just curious is all.

I also welcome anyone else' opinion as well this is all speculation until we get our hands on the actual classes just some discussion till then thanks.

Thanks for the info I'm actually really surprised that GNB is 1000 DPS lower that can change before the expansion coming out so its not final so we'll have to see, as for DRK and PLD they got some much needed love it looks like with WAR in the middle this time which is surprising too.

Edit: War isn't in the middle its almost the same as DRK but it looks like all the tanks besides GNB are respectable.

Considering that Yoshida mentioned WAR is still gonna be the highest dps tank expect WAR to be buffed even more or both DRK and PLD nerfed.

Lets be honest, PLD with his high utility AND best damage is a reprise of SB PLD release which quickly got the nerf bat

I don’t see why they think WAR should be highest dps tbh. WAR now has more utility and more powerful CDs than anyone else right now.

If anyone should be highest dps it should be DRK since they still bring basically no utility other than magic only shields.

I don't remember Yoshi saying that WAR will still be the highest DPS tank. He said that WAR will still be the most powerful tank, and it's a translation. "Most powerful" for a tank might be more about defensive toolkit than DPS. It could also be interpreted as "WAR will still have the highest damaging tank move" (which is Inner Chaos with its 900 potency). It doesn't necessarily mean that it's the tank with the most DPS.

Really hope is thats the case fellas, WAR had been too dominant for far too long and would be nice to have options instead of WAR must have always and let the remaning tanks fight for the last tank spot

People really need to stop spreading that misquote. It's just fanning flames with misinformation. He just said war will have the strongest attack referencing inner chaos.

Paladin has Confiteor that deals 1200 AoE Potency.
