Increase stacks of gauss and ricochet to 4 so now you don't have to use any during your Heat Blast phase and can instead, double weave them into your higher potency GCD phase that starts with the explosion of wildfire.
There, problem solved.

Problem not solved, problem shifted a bit. Odds are you're going to be using wildfire during a party burst window anyway, so you'll likely be wanting to weave after every heatblast to get maximal use out of trick attack ect. What doing that does is make it easier to play sub optimally/ with worse ping, so once again you're in a situation where you need seperate rotations based on ping, which is what we wanted to avoid

The only thing that has to be in the TA window is the Wildfire explosion, not the Heat Blast Spam, you can totally use Wildfire 6 seconds before TA and the explosion will be covered by TA boost.
Given this, you can burn out the oGCDs before the Hypercharge window, and have them all back for normal GCDs inside the TA window after Wildfire.
If you do an early wildfire during your opener you will not be able to use all your ogcds prior. You will still have to weave during heatblast spam inorder to not overcap charges. The only thing that has to be in the TA window is the Wildfire explosion, not the Heat Blast Spam, you can totally use Wildfire 6 seconds before TA and the explosion will be covered by TA boost.

With a later wildfire you can dump your ogcds prior to heatblast spam and immediately after with a small DPS loss due to them not being in group buffs.

That may be the case for the opener, but what I wanted to bring to the table was that what matters for the TA-Wildfire interaction is the explosion at the end, not what you do inbetween.
As a NIN main Im still a bit puzzled as of where TA will end up even. With so many additions to the Mudra system, I have a feeling TA will be pushed back a bit rather than sooner even.
I will still play it I think.
It looks fun, and I'll be one of the 1% players that plays MCH. Still more edgy than the DRK![]()

There's actually one more possibility, assuming Wildfire still acts like a DoT like it does now: Raid buffs are snapshot at the time of placement.
Since Wildfire now has a potency per weapon skill, it is plausible that the Wildfire debuff could snapshot buffs when it is placed like other DoTs do instead of snapshotting when it deals damage.
Ah, true. I knew I was forgetting something. I was sure there was a 4th option that had come up in discussions but couldn't for the life of me remember what it was. There's actually one more possibility, assuming Wildfire still acts like a DoT like it does now: Raid buffs are snapshot at the time of placement.

That also sounds pretty good as it wouldn't be as ping dependent. (Actually like it more than explosion at the end mattering)
Taking this chance, I was playing a bit with the Hotbar planing simulator and came to notice that... there are a lot less buttons to place huh?
I'm a total noob when it comes to MCH other than the general outline of the job, so, have anyone thought out an opener out of boredom with whats to come?
You'll find the latest on MCH theorycrafting at the Balance discord. There's a few possibilities we're considering but since there are things we don't know about Wildfire and Automaton Queen so nothing has been finalized.
