Can We Consider Changing Tank Mounts for GNB?

Griever is actually a WINGED Lion, and kinda "otherworldly" at that, since it's a Guardian Force.

So for the tank mount, they could do a Winged Otherworldly Lion sort of mount if they wanted. Wouldn't be the same as PLD Lions.

i kinda want them to bring in odin's horse form from ff13 since they already have plenty of squall throwbacks with GNB but none from lightning who also uses a gunblade. would be intereesting to get the mecha odin mount then in 6.0 they could add army of one.

I don't think, there will be a winged lion for GNB as a mount, because all other tanks have two mounts: one from ARR and the other one from SB (ARR-mount with armor). Only the SB-Mount can fly.

If the devs want to follow this pattern, i suppose, the ARR-mount will be something without wings and without armor.

The mounts so far always had something to do with the "character" of the corresponding job. The proud and royal PLD, the savage and brutal WAR and the DRK who uses the darkness to his advantage.

Since GNB is going to be full on FF8 fanservice job we might as well get this as a mount

What makes everyone think Gunbreaker, or any tank, is getting a mount this expansion? I could see it being healers that need some mount based role encouragement this time around.

GNB will get at least one for sure
wont be surprised if they just recolor the current tank mounts for Drk,War and PLD

even with healer outrage atm its not gonna hurt the role so much they need to add a mount achievement for them

Because all tanks have a mount reward for tanking X number of instances.

Very Merri asked Yoshida about healer mounts, to which Yoshida said, "Maybe...hmm, maybe. But then if we give healers mounts, then everyone will want mounts. So, "maybe"." Very Merri's interpretation of his answer and tone was that his answer was a "no", but didn't want to outright bluntly say no.
