Can We Consider Changing Tank Mounts for GNB?

It's pretty obvious that Gunbreaker is based off the characters Squall Leonhart and Seifer Almasy from Final Fantasy 8.

The animal most thematically appropriate to Squall is the Lion. He wears a lion pendant and another similar pendant is attached to his gunblade. His ultimate weapon is named "Lion Heart" and so is his ultimate Limit Break move.

Unfortunately, Paladins already ride lions for their tank mount.

Could we consider changing tank mounts so that Gunbreakers ride lions?

As for Paladins, I have two suggestions:

1) It might be more thematically appropriate for a Paladin to have some sort of armored horse, like a medieval knight. Perhaps something similar to the Warsteed mounts from PvP, but with a design and coloration more suitable to a Paladin?

2) If you think there are too many horse mounts in the game, then I suggest a wolf. We currently have a bear, a lion, and a panther for tank mounts. It would be nice to have a canine added for variety.

The Paladin's Job symbol is already emblazoned onto the Armor for the Stormblood Lion. Gunbreakers can have the Wolf.

For gunbreaker I'd actually like for them to have those big puginax things.

Seems kinda silly to want to swap the mounts around now though. There are lord tidbits for the lions and paladins in their mount descriptions, the pld symbol in the armor as mentioned above. And what are they going to do? Take away a mount we've earned already and give us another one we may not want, and make us re earn the lions?

No thanks, I like my lion for PLD. Gunbreaker can have a different mount.

Why not simply give GNB a reskin of the PLD lion? PLD has a while lion, GNB will get a clssic yellow / brown one. Easy.

Because that would be lame.

So far, every Tank has gotten a unique mount. In most cases, completely unique from anything else in the game (The only exception is the ARR CE gives a Coeurl and DRK also has a Coeurl as a mount)

On topic:

I think that Gunbreaker already has enough VIII references, what with being developed by the Hrothgar (With lion-esk features), having weapons designed around Squall/Seifer's Gunblades, having a plethora of skills with names from Squall/Seifer's skills, with the ShB CE coming with a glamour version of Squall's Gunblade. Most likely their LB3 will be based off one of Squall/Seifer's moves too.

I don't think that it necessarily needs to also have a Lion mount to further reference the already heavily referenced game.

Though, that said, you could easily have something Lion-esk if you really wanted, that would be unique, such as a Bandersnatch:
